This is your invitation to attend the upcoming workshop on how to greatly increase your effectiveness as any kind of therapy/medical professional. Register soon as the class size is limited.

Adding Athro Therapy to any healing modality greatly increases your ability to deliver powerful results to your clients whether you are an MD, Massage therapist or Energy healer.

This two day workshop will explain and demonstrate how to use techniques from Cranial Osteopathy, Quantum Mechanics combined with ancient Aboriginal healing arts.

When: 10 am Saturday November 3rd to 4 pm Sunday November 4th.

Location: Black Canyon, Arizona.

The workshop will be held at a beautiful desert location near Black Canyon, AZ. Directions available to registered students. Workshop starts at 10 am on Saturday, the 3rd of November and ends at 4pm on Sunday the 4th of November.

Bring a brown bag lunch both days for a working break at noon and wear comfortable clothing.

Tuition is $295.00 if received by October 26th, $350.00 after the early registration dead line.

If you are a returning student who has taken courses in RRT or MNR therapies there is a $50.00 discount as well.

$15.00 will be refunded to students who bring their own massage table after the end of the workshop.

This class offers 16 CE's for massage Therapists. As not all students need the CE's, there is a $30.00 fee for the CE's.

About the Instructor


James Tree-Gilmore, CST, LMT, has developed a healing technique that can dramatically increase the effectiveness of any therapy/modality. He has taught in many countries, and his students range from Medical Doctors and Osteopaths to Energy Healers, Massage Therapists and Reiki Masters.

He is the author of "The Athro Technique, how to live a Charmed Life" and "The Way of the Sacred Pipe."

Jim is a CranioSacral Therapist trained by the Upledger Institute. He is also a member of the International Association of Health Practitioners and is one of the only Medicaid recognized provider of CST in the US.

Jim has practiced CranioSacral Therapy (CST) for over 20 years. He has studied the therapeutic effects of Cranial Osteopathy, Cellular Memory Release and Automated Percussion Therapy with Dr. Feeney, DO, an internationally known instructor of Cranial Osteopathy.

He has studied the principles of Quantum Mechanics as they relate to health and healing for 6 years.

Jim has worked as a Senior Biomedical Engineer with some of the world's largest medical instrumentation companies.

Yoga for PTSD Training | a trauma informed yoga training annually at SYF

SYF Gives Back is something we’ve been doing from the start.  Utilizing this event as platform to serve and in our case, we’ve been offering some form of trauma informed yoga training at SYF since the beginning. We have trained hundreds of yoga teachers and brought awareness to the devastating effects of Post Traumatic Stress in our communities across the country. We’ve called this program all sorts of things from Yoga for Veterans and Yoga for First Responders to Yoga for PTSD, with one simple aim: Provide the tools to alleviate the effects of trauma, of suffering.  A trauma sensitive yoga training takes into account the specific aspects of traditional yoga practices that ameliorate the effects of trauma and stress on the human nervous system. Yoga is and has always been the healing balm to soothe the injured human nervous system, ergo a Yoga for PTSD training, a trauma sensitive yoga training, trauma informed yoga training… Call it what you will, we know what outcomes have emerged from this training.  We know that by training hundreds we have impacted thousands. This year we are going back to our roots, quite literally… as it was the Mindful Yoga Therapy team who were key members of the first cadre we put together for Mindful Therapeutic Yoga Practices for Veterans.

Within this paradigm, to recognize oneself as a sovereign being is to acknowledge one’s own total spiritual autonomy and unconditional entitlement to self‐determination. It is a primary avowal of oneself as a free and natural human being — not a serf, a subject, a corporate entity, or even a citizen. No persons or man‐made laws have any jurisdiction whatsoever over a sovereign being. This is all very alarming for any empire that secretly prefers its populace to feel toothless.

Time has come and gone, and sits now at the window —watching. When I was a child I sat at tables of concerned and brilliant people who discussed the fate of the world with great passion. It was the early 70’s and publications were springing up around the globe to announce the need to change the way humanity was living with each other and the biosphere. The radical revolutionaries were penning beautiful texts on systems theory, cybernetics, ecology, new forms of education, steady state economics, and exploratory versions of non-violent democracies. It was quite clear at my dinner table in 1976 that there were a few basic steps to be taken immediately to save mankind and the planet. They were: be respectful to all cultures, save the ecology, offer equal opportunity to all, resist runaway capitalism, and stop building nuclear weapons. More than 40 years later, whatever measures have been taken, no matter how well intended, we must admit that they have not been enough. While we may be ready now to embrace some of the criteria for survival from the mid-seventies – it is no longer the seventies. While still viable, these criteria appear quaint and insufficient now. Fixing economies, making civil rights laws, or developing sustainable architecture seems now to have been merely a form of prolongation of the epistemology that defaults to exploitation. Incremental change, it would appear, was an idea that ate decades. So, from this beginning point, (which is really a middle point), we sit today, with father time, by the window, watching.
