Profile Information

2 ~ What is your "JOB" (aka Joy of Being)? What especially delights you?
physical immortality, baritone guitars, drum circles, empty rooms, beaches, stars, improv, cooking, puppy piles, hot springs, tantra, idling, bardos, sun, shadow, free will, surrender
3 ~ What would you love to offer to and share with our community?
My lifelong interest in all things spiritual, via high-diving, performing, and yoga, eventually led to my study of tantra in the 90's, which in turn manifested as my current vocation as licensed massage therapist and all-around Spiritual Activist.
I'm a Sky-Dancing Tantra presenter, and have practiced and taught extensively in Re-Evaluation Counseling, Mankind Project work, and community and sacred theater. I assisted in the home-birthing and home-schooling of my four young adults, and I write songs about love and death that I'm told sound like a bad sing-off between Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen. I offer abundant thanks to All for this mysterious moment that matches my heart's desire EXACTLY. *Om_Shalom_Aloha*
4 ~ What do you value most in life? Which virtues do you most admire in people? And, how do you feel we can deepen, expand and enhance our community?
Any endeavor that celebrates the body in the present moment is where I show up.
5 ~ Which intriguing concepts, local endeavors, links, music, art, websites, books, films, inventions, Sedona businesses and events have you been exploring?
Kudos to the Sedona School of Massage!

6 ~ Please share a few quotes, poems or lyrics that most embody your essence.
Whenever I remember that I have the power to move mountains, I always notice that the mountains are already in the right spots.
7 ~ How can the Sedona Source Center best serve you? What do you envision could be a few of the most beneficial things that could happen from actively using this site? Feel free to be outrageous!
The on-going immortalization of the the planet could be aided by SSC and tribe-building in the form of song, dance improv and deep emotional sharing would be most satisfying!

The Hippies Were Right: It's All about Vibrations, Man! | Scientific American Blog Network

Did the hippies actually solve this problem? My colleague Jonathan Schooler of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and I think they effectively did, with the radical intuition that it’s all about vibrations … man. Over the past decade, we have developed a “resonance theory of consciousness” that suggests that resonance—another word for synchronized vibrations—is at the heart of not only human consciousness but of physical reality more generally.

The Universe Itself Is a Giant Brain and It May Be Conscious, Say Scientists | Project Yourself

There is no need to look far in order to find outlandish theories on the nature of cosmos, and also of human consciousness. In recent times, notions once relegated to science fiction found their way into the esoteric academic journals, and after that into the mainstream discourse. One such example is the Simulation Argument, which was recently championed by Elon Musk. Another example is ‘time crystals,’ which are a tantalizing non-linear phase of matter.

Intuition Is The Highest Form Of Intelligence | Forbes

Intuition, argues Gerd Gigerenzer, a director at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, is less about suddenly "knowing" the right answer and more about instinctively understanding what information is unimportant and can thus be discarded.
